Although he can come off as crass at times, Ugrog is in no way a bad giant. His only crime was wanting something better for himself and his tribe. He was branded a traitor when he decided to speak up against the barbaric traditions and nonsensical violence that the tribe indulged in.
Thus, he was exiled.
He arrived at the Frost Lands merely by chance, as he was wandering without a destination, and he decided to stay, for he felt this place was special and he wanted to know why.
What he didn’t know was that this was another creature’s “territory” and that he would have to fight to be able to stay.
